Globally, MANY former Cool Mountains, and Mountain Towns have arguably been affected by the "growth" of ski towns.
In Colorado, we notably look at the "Lost Mountains", Keystone and Breck as examples of what good does not look like.
From Europe to Ski the East... to the Midwest.. to Canada.. To the South Pacific.. The Vail Way is screwing up skiing around the world.

Many feel Vail invades, and attacks.. THEN RUINS places.
Arguably, very similar to bad-guys taking over villages during wartime.
- Vail oversells the cheap Vail Pass. See HAJJ effect.
- Epic Pass customers ruin Ski towns; Epic is rumored to cause inflation and global warming and homelessness
- Vail cannot accommodate the numbers of amateur skiers and riders they invite
- These Jerries cannot ski nor ride, they cannot drive in snow. They are terrified of POW
- They huddle in rental minivans, rental "racing" SUV's, and cause traffic calamity
